On the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of TK and with the order of the Municipal Court in Živinice, investigators of the Criminal Police Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TK conducted searches at several locations in Živinice today. After the investigation, Nail Jusić, chairman of the Živinica City Council (SDA), was deprived of his liberty.
Searches were carried out in his family home, cottage and auxiliary facilities in Živinice, in the offices of the City Council and the Health Center in Živinice – which Jusić uses as assistant director for nursing, and two cars that he uses were also searched.

˝During the search, certain items suspected of having been used in the commission of criminal offenses were found and seized. Jusić is suspected of having, as chairman of the Živinica City Council, committed two criminal offenses of abuse of position and authority in connection with receiving a reward or other form of benefit for influence peddling, said Admir Arnautović, spokesman for the TK Prosecutor’s Office.
The three actions for which Jusić is suspected in the course of the investigation so far relate to certain illegalities during the appointment of secretaries in the permanent commissions of the city council, including his son, as well as to the attempt to obtain benefits for one person to acquire the right of ownership of the land on which the building was built without the right of use.
After the criminal investigation, the investigators of the Criminal Police Sector will hand over the suspect to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office.
“The acting prosecutor will question him about the circumstances of the investigation, after which he will make a decision on further measures and actions to be taken against the suspect Jusić,” Arnautović said.
The investigation in this case continues.
