The Cantonal Court in Tuzla implements the ‘Court Settlement Week’ activities, which are implemented at the initiative of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH in all first and second instance courts in BiH.
The period of implementation of the activity is from May 11 to 22, 2026.
The goal of organizing the “Court Settlement Week” is to resolve as many cases as possible peacefully, in a shortened procedure, which is more economical and faster for the parties. In this way, we want to make a positive impact on the efficiency of court proceedings and change the approach of the court and the parties to resolving disputes, where the priority is quick and efficient resolution, with an emphasis on the parties’ satisfaction with the outcome of the dispute and court service.
In accordance with the above, they invite all interested parties, whose cases are pending before this court, to approach the court within the specified period and resolve their case through a court settlement.
If you want to resolve your case through a court settlement, you can do so by informing the judge handling your case in one of the following ways:
–independently or through your representative send a written proposal for concluding a court settlement;
–you contact the judge on your own or through your representative in order to jointly agree on a date for the hearing to conclude a court settlement;
–together with the opposite party, and a representative if you have one, during the specified period, approach the court with a proposal for concluding a court settlement;
