Bosnians arrested for selling weapons in Sweden and Slovenia

Seven people, Milija Vlacic, Zoran Jovanovic (known as Tigar), Aleksandar Cukovic, as well as P.B., N.Dj., M.Dj. and V.D., were arrested today for illegal weapons trade in the international operation “Trzaj“ (Snatch), conducted in Bosnian city of Bijeljina.

Seven locations were searched, and three kilograms of explosives, hand grenades, machine gun, several rounds of ammunition of different calibers and other items were found.

The Prosecution charged them with buying weapons and explosive ordnance in Serbia and the Republika Srpska, and selling them in Sweden and Slovenia.

Operation was carried out on the basis of the coordinated actions of the police and judicial authorities of the Republika Srpska, Serbia, Sweden and Slovenia.

According to unofficial information, suspects were transporting weapons across the border hidden in trucks with legal goods.

There were special bunkers in these trucks in which they kept weapons.
