The value of bitcoin (BTC) fell by 6.09 percent to 69,278.22 euros yesterday afternoon, January 30, on the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
The total volume of bitcoin trade in the last 24 hours was 69.99 billion euros, almost double the amount of yesterday.
The index of fear and greed for bitcoin today is at level 16 in the “extreme fear” category, which is a significant deterioration compared to yesterday’s 26 in the same category, reports Tanjug.
Analysts say bitcoin is down after news that Kevin Warsh is the front-runner for Federal Reserve (FED) chairman. Warsh is known for a more conservative approach to financial markets.
