In the premises of the Central Bosnian Canton Government, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Bojan Domić and Novi Travnik Mayor Stjepan Dujo signed a contract granting Novi Travnik 1.5 million marks for the construction of the Novi Travnik High School concert hall.
“This project is of great importance for the City of Novi Travnik, but also for the entire SBK, because it will primarily serve the Primary and Secondary Music School of Jakov Gotovac, but also all the citizens of Novi Travnik, considering that it will become one of the main places for musical meetings,” said Mayor Dujo after signing the contract.
The concert hall is attached to the existing building of the Novi Travnik High School.
At the proposal of the Government, the Assembly of the KSB adopted a decision on the distribution of 4.2 million KM of Cantonal loan funds for projects in the Novi Travnik area, from which, in addition to this project, the construction of the sports hall of the Safvet-beg Bašagić Elementary School is financed, announced the City of Novi Travnik.
Thanks to the higher levels of government, the Canton of Central Bosnia and the Government of FBiH, during this year more than 2.2 million marks will be invested in infrastructure projects within the school facilities in the area of Novi Travnik, according to the announcement.
