The Energy Regulatory Commission in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FERK) approved the construction of 21 new solar power plants in the village of Trijenum, near Stolac.
This project is implemented by Eco-Wat doo from Kiseljak, which has received modified permits for electricity production due to the construction of new photovoltaic buildings.
By the decision of FERK, the status of qualified manufacturers also received the company “VE Ivovik” doo from Sarajevo, as well as Eco-Wat and “Idex Group” from Busovača, who are also involved in the development of new solar power plants in BiH.
Two drafts
In accordance with the new regulations, FERK published two draft permits for electricity production, referring them to the general discussion. These drafts refer to Arena Solar doo from Mostar and “Idex Group” doo from Busovače.
The public can present its comments on draft permits by 24. February 2025. years, and the details are available on the official website of FERK.
