Mirsad Husović from Tuzla, the leader of an organized criminal group, and members Hajrudin Tursunović from Brcko and Admir Uzunović from Živinice, were arrested on Wednesday in an operation by the Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and the Criminal Police Department of the MUP of TK.
˝They are suspected of organized crime related to planning and organizing the murders of several people, by using the encrypted application Sky, in the period from the end of 2019 to October 2021, together with other members of this criminal group, they arranged, planned, prepared and tried to kill several people in the area of Tuzla˝, announced the spokesman of the TK Prosecutor’s Office, Admir Arnautović.
This morning, on the order of the Prosecutor’s Office and the order of the Tuzla Cantonal Court, members of the UP MUP Support Unit of the TK, with the assistance of the Brčko District Police, carried out searches in Živinice, Brčko, and in the Orašje Prison, where Husović was finishing his prison sentence under an earlier conviction judge and where he is deprived of liberty.
In the area of Tuzla Canton, this is the first subject of the investigation for organized crime, which resulted from the evidence from the Sky application, and which was the basis for further investigation. The investigative team of prosecutors and the Criminal Police Department of the Interior Ministry of the Interior, after submitting the evidence from the Sky application, conducted a months-long investigation regarding the members of the group and the aforementioned crimes.
Mirsad Husović is suspected of having organized and managed this criminal group, in which Tursunović, Uzunović and other persons were members, with clearly defined hierarchy, goals and divided roles among the members of the group.
In this period, they exclusively used the Sky application in connection with the realization of the planned liquidations of several persons, with a clearly laid out plan of organization, logistics, methods of execution, preparation of weapons and other things necessary for the realization of the planned liquidations. They planned, organized and tried to carry out the murders either for revenge reasons due to earlier conflicts or enmities with those persons or to eliminate persons who had previously testified in certain criminal proceedings against them or persons close to them.
In all situations, Mirsad Husović organized and encouraged the aforementioned and other members of the group to commit murders. The members had different roles in the organization and preparation of the murders, while Uzunović, among other things, was responsible for the execution of the liquidations.

In several situations, they tried to commit murders with firearms, and certain people were also wounded in the attempted liquidations.
After the criminal investigation, which will be carried out by the investigators of the SKP MUP, TK, these persons will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office, where they will be interrogated, and a proposal will be submitted to the Tuzla Cantonal Court for the determination of a detention measure.
The Prosecutor’s Office and the SKP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TK will continue the investigation in this case in the following period as well. Since the investigation is ongoing, we are unable and cannot publish more detailed information about the planned and attempted murders.
