According to the orders of the Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH, and under the supervision of the acting federal prosecutor of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of FBiH, the police officers of SIPA and MUP of Sarajevo Canton are conducting coordinated activities in the area of Mostar and Sarajevo.
Several locations are being searched, including the official premises of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, as well as official documentation and computer equipment used by the minister, his advisers and associates.
The orders included the searches of certain natural and legal persons who were part of the consortium of users of grants awarded through a public invitation issued by the said ministry in March 2025, in the total amount of about 600,000 US dollars.
Let us remind you that in March of last year, the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts announced a public competition for the allocation of grant funds under the name “Development of start-up ecosystems”.
The contest was completed in just nine days, including the weekend, and the decision to award the money was made “in just half a day,” say both those who received the money and those who complained about the procedure. After the competition ended, there were objections to the regularity.
The Techstars Sarajevo consortium received 1,200,000 in a public tender, and Minister Vojin Mijatović faced accusations of favoritism in that tender.
The owners of the IT company Bloomteq, which also competed, filed a criminal complaint JUMP-in against the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
